Cancer Care and Recovery

Many cancer patients feel more comfortable receiving care at home where they are supported by  family, friends and familiar surroundings. But cancer is a condition that can change relationships and require families to address new issues. When it comes to cancer, in-home care is often a welcomed supportive care option for family caregivers. Right at Home works together with you and your loved ones in the home, allowing you to to focus on maintaining that pre-caregiving relationship and look beyond the tasks and details of daily activities. Right at Home caregivers can help with any of our Care Services, as well as supplement any hospice care. Contact a Right at Home Care Planner to discuss the options that may best suit you and your loved ones.

To contact a Care Planner, click on the box at the top right of this website "Where do you need Service?" Select the location nearest you for the contact information. You can also fill out an automatic submission form found by clicking the "Contact Us" button also at the top right of this webpage.

I live in Elora and I had an appointment with a ENT Specialist in Guelph. My transportation fell through and I contacted Right at Home Guelph the day of my appointment and told them my problem. I was told they could take me to my appointment on such short notice so I would not have to take a cab both ways. Beth and I have a great relationship and since that day she has taken me to any medical appointments I have. The level of care I receive from Right at Home Guelph is excellent. They are kind, considerate and real people persons, especially with seniors like me. Beth seems to know instinctively what to do whether to inject a bit of humor into a situation or to reach out and hold my hand. I would recommend them to others for their care and compassion. I know that should I need a more involved level of care in the future that Right at Home will be right there for me.
