Research and Qualification Process

All potential Right at Home franchisees follow the same process. It's designed so that everyone involved – you and us – gets the information needed in the most efficient way possible to make an informed decision.

Are we the right business for you? Are you a good fit for us? Ultimately, these are the questions that need to be answered. That requires honesty and integrity on everyone's behalf. You can count on us to be honest and forthright with you, and we expect the same. After all, we hope we're going to be in business together for a long time.

During this process, we take the time to get to know you as a person – your background, your accomplishments and how business ownership will help you reach your goals. We also give you the opportunity to get to know us as individuals and as a company.

The whole process takes approximately 30-90 days.

1. Initial Discussions
During our initial discussions, we'll talk about you, your background, your family and your goals for business ownership.  We'll discuss the financial parameters and explain the whole process of application in more detail.  And we'll verify that your desired territory is still available.

2. Franchise Disclosure Documents
Once you complete the initial steps in the Research and Qualification Process, we'll send you our Franchise Disclosure Documents. The Franchise Disclosure Documents, mandated by provincial law, will disclose all pertinent information about the company, system and agreement.

3. Approval and Agreement Execution
On the first business day after Discovery Day, we'll notify you of your approval status. If we all decide that it seems like a mutually beneficial relationship, we will guide you through the signing of documents and immediately start working with you on your pre-opening checklist. It may feel like the end, but it's actually just the beginning.
